Before we head into the holiday season, busy with family, celebrating, and fun, give yourself some acknowledgement of what you've accomplished in the last day, week, month, and year. 

What practices do you have or share with your family that recognize and acknowledge gratitude and keeping an eye on the positive?

Some days coffee just ain't enough to kick my mom-bossing into gear. Outside of caffeine, music is effective motivation for me. It keeps me feeling light, energetic, positive, and frankly it keeps me going more than any coffee or tea. Read my 10 Songs that keep me bossy. 

I came to New York with my boyfriend, eight suitcases, and my miniature dachshund. We flew in from Las Vegas and at a friend's insistence went straight from the airport, dog and suitcases in tow, into Manhattan for karaoke. I'd like to blame the tequila - but really, those crazy girls in their prom dresses rapping were just so much fun!

We have loved the scenic Hudson Rivertowns in New York, but an adventure named Houston called and we're moving! Onward & Upward!
