The key on the necklace states "heart" and the necklace in its entirety was crafted to suggest that we wear our hearts outside of our chests when we give someone the gift of our love.
The other pieces of the necklace are made from vintage jewelry and are inspired by the color and shape of half a heart which is suggested by the vintage jewelry paired within the shell. The interior of the shell was hand-painted gold and embellished with Swarovski crystals.Â
